Adelaide Scholarships for International Students (ASI) 2016 - 2017

The University of Adelaide provides Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) to attract postgraduate students to high quality foreign to the strengths of research at the University of Adelaide to support its research efforts.

The scholarship includes tuition course fees, annual living allowance ($ 26,288 in 2016), and health insurance for students overseas (if the award holder holds a visa subclass 574).
The scholarship is granted for two years for a Master of research and three years for a doctoral degree in research (an extension is possible only for doctoral programs)
Eligibility:
To be eligible, candidates must have successfully completed at least the equivalent of a First Class Honours degree Australian (which is a four-year degree with a major research project in the last year). All study qualification programs must be carried out. Scholarships will be awarded on academic merit and research potential. extracurricular achievements are not considered.
Foreign applicants should not hold a research qualification regarded by the University of Adelaide to be equivalent to an Australian degree or PhD research, if the company holds a research master, do not hold a degree research considered by the University of Adelaide to be equivalent or superior to an Australian degree master's research.
Foreign applicants have not provided proof of their meeting the minimum requirements in English language proficiency for direct entry to the closing date of the award, or who have completed a pre-enrollment English Program to meet input for the planned program of study, are not eligible.
Candidates are required to register at the University of Adelaide as "international students" and must maintain the status of "international student" for the duration of enrollment at the University. Citizens and permanent residents of Australia, and the citizens of New Zealand are not eligible.

To apply, you must submit a formal application for admission and a scholarship through the online application system. There are no application fees. The next deadline is August 31, 2016 January 31, 2017 for Semester 1, 2017. The deadline to February 2017 semester is January 31 and April 30, 2017.
