Pakistan USAID Merit and Needs Based Scholarships

Applicants from Pakistan are invited to apply the scholarship program of study based on USAID needs merit and financed. Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and graduate studies in all disciplines selected 31 Pakistani universities and institutions to award degrees.

The merit-Pak USAID and based on the needs of Phase II scholarship program is focused on providing opportunities for access to higher education especially to disadvantaged candidates who, despite possessing academic merit, are unable to finance their education.

Higher Education Commission (HEC) aims to raise the socio-economic position of needy and deserving students by giving them access to quality education through scholarships based on need.

Students must demonstrate a good level of written and spoken English.

Course level: USAID scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in Pakistan participating universities / institutions selected.

Study Subject: USAID scholarships are awarded in the field of business administration, agriculture and veterinary science, medical / nursing, social sciences and engineering and technology.

Scholarship: full scholarship offered under this program provides funds for the following expenses: tuition, housing, transport, books and other academic expenses. Housing, books, transportation and other academic expenses covered by the allowance for students. The amount of the scholarship varies from university to university (zone).

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following guidelines:

The applicant must be Pakistani / AJK National.
Financial aid and scholarships are available for study at undergraduate and graduate levels in disciplines prescribed in 31 selected Pakistani universities and institutions awarding diplomas: Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, Business Administration , social sciences, Engineering and Technology and paramedic.
Nationality: Pakistani Students can apply for scholarships from USAID.

Deserving students can apply online for USAID grants by clicking on  scholarship application.

After submitting the online application, save and print. The printed stock form is submitted with supporting documents to the university's financial aid office for which the application is submitted online
Students should get admission in any of the approved disciplines (Agriculture and veterinary science, business administration, social sciences, Engineering & Tech. And medical) at the Universities / participating institutions according to their admission criteria.
